*Tiered bracketing-all teams entered will be placed into one double-elimination bracket. Some teams will be placed into additional bracket(s) as they are eliminated from the first bracket. The number of teams going into the secondary brackets and the number of brackets used will depend on the number of teams entered.
A team that purposely loses a game so that it will be placed into a lower bracket, is subject to disqualification. The tournament committee may hold a hearing and determine if a team has purposely lost a game. Upon determination by the board that a team has thrown a game to gain a lower bracket the board may disqualify that team from further championship competition. The decision of the board is final. The offending team is automatically suspended for a period of one year.
